I started this site two years ago to share my love for trail running. I moved down here from Joburg, and decided to embrace nature and start going for hikes. During these hikes, I craved more exercise and started running. As it turns out, this was already a growing sport and I found myself in the thick of one of the most exciting and enjoyable activities I’ve found to date. I posted pictures, routes, tips and advice. I also started to meet up with people through the site, and have groups of people go for trail runs. As I got more involved in the scene, I lamented how getting good trail running gear was so difficult, so decided to open the store where we now sell awesome gear from top brands, and at prices hard to beat. We also deliver to your door 🙂

This blog will now be the forefront of Trailrunner once again. Myself and some great people are going to be posting loads of awesome content here frequently, and also reach out to do some weekend runs and have meetups.
