The Fireman’s Revenge offers some incredible 360-degree mountain views and quality climbs, making the route unforgettable, while the Beat the Heat (the 5km fun run) is for the runner looking for a more relaxed meander among the vines, with spectacular scenery.
There’ll be non-stop activities for kids including fire truck rides, tree climbing and swings, snake shoes, treasure hunts, mock firefighting displays and interesting exhibitions. There’ll also be a bustling food court and tea garden.
100% of all proceeds go directly to VWS Firefighting Operations, which provides firefighting resources to CapeNature on a voluntary, not paid, basis.
Starting times: 14km Trail Run: 8am; Beat the Heat 5km Fun Run: 8:15am.
Pre-entries, available at www.entrytickets.co.za, will close on 15 April 2015. You can also enter on race day, between 6:30am and 7:30am.
Walkers are welcome. No dogs please as this is held on private property
