There's nothing quite like going for a trail run to bring some nature into the work week. Right now I'm trying to go at least four times a week after work, and so far I am loving it. This week I've done Deer Park a couple of times and it's an awesome run. Starting above the Woodlands Eatery parking, then heading left along the mountain, past the Disa Towers and towards Devil's Peak.
There are quite a few inclines and declines, and some pretty technical bits which will keep you on your toes. I've added the run below if anyone is interested in the exact route I took. Overall, highly enjoyable. This was also the first run in my new Vivobarefoot Breatho shoes which handled like a dream. Super light and they hug your foot, feeling like you're not wearing anything. The grip is outstanding as well. These are the first runs I've done in barefoot shoes so still need a bit of adjusting, but so far I am loving it. Can't see myself going back.
