Firstly, I must apologise for not posting in such a long time. Terrible! This was largely due to injury, but thanks to some awesome physio I am back on the road to recovery. So, to start the path again, I decided to do a quick hike up Lion's Head. On arrival, an adventurous tourist came and asked if she could join me. She made her way to Lion's Head after coming to South Africa alone, and was literally waiting for someone who "looked friendly" who she could ask to join. Strange but awesome. With my new found friend we made our way up.

I doubt Lion's Head could be nothing other than amazing, and I've been up there plenty of times. Rain, shine, wind, danger - under any conditions I've always had a great hike. This was no different, and managed to keep it super relaxed thanks to my tourist friend. Keeping it easy is key to recovery :)

I'm really looking forward to the coming months during summer time! Morning hikes, late trail runs and the sun is still up. Getting goosebumps. Here is a gallery from the hike, hope you enjoy.

P.S. If you're ever keen to join on a hike or run, we have weekly groups that do both (hikes normally on weekends, run during the week or weekends). Feel free to drop a mail or tweet @trailrunnerza

P.P.S. If you are looking for a physio, Tarryn from PhysioFit is great and has helped me loads.
